SUB ACTIVITY GROUP(SAG)
- Budget activities were accounted for at the two digit
level, 11,42, 32 and others.
- The authorization bill includes the requirement for
accounting at the three digit level, 123, 435, and 323
for example. New rules on reprogramming:
- A. Budget activities(BAs): transfers between BAs in
excess of $15m require prior approval.
- B. Depot maintenance: transfers in excess of $15m into or
out of OMA depot maintenance (sag 123) require prior
approval.
- C. Land forces: written notification to congress for the
cumulative value of transfers in excess of $15m into or
out of sags 111, 112, 113, 114, 115.
- D. Real property maintenance: the department should
provide written notification to congress for transfers
greater than $15m into or out of the total rpm accounts
(sags 132, 316, 326, 439).
