What is OA22? and What does it do?
- OA22 currently serves approximately 240 agencies / programs which include HQDA Staff
Support and Field Operating Agencies, worldwide. These activities are serviced by 69
Fiscal Stations 124 Civilian Personnel Offices.
- In FY01, responsible for
13 appropriations totalling $over $3B and over 13K military and civilian authorizations.
- Budget execution analysts centrally budget / execute 81 activities / programs and
oversee budget development / monitor execution of 159 activities / programs.
- Supported agencies in OA22 are organized into 25 functional groups known as Families.
There are 25 families in OA22, they are Assistant
Chief of Staff for Installation Management (ACSIM); The Auditor General
(AG); Assistant Secretary
of the Army (Civil Works) (ASA(CW)); Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management and Comptroller)

Logistics and Environment) (ASA(IL&E)); Assistant Secretary of the Army (Manpower & Reserve Affairs)
(ASA(M&RA)); Assistant
Secretary of the Army ( Research, Development & Acquisition) (ASA(RDA)); Chief of Chaplains (DACH); Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (DCSINT); Deputy Chief of Staff for
Logistics (DCSLOG); Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations
