* Primary POC to DA Staff for field units, USAES, and USACE for geospatial engineering related matters.

 *Supports the Chief of Engineers mission in his role as Topographer of the Army and as co-chair for the Geospatial Governance Board(GGB).

 *Supports the HQDA Geospatial Information Officer(GIO) in executing the mission of the Army Geospatial Enterprise(AGE) under the guidance of the GGB.

 *Participates as a member of the Geospatial Standing Task Force(GSTF)to coordinate GIO approved geospatial actions across the Army Geospatial Enterprise.

 * Coordinates with the Geospatial Enterprise Office and Army Geospatial Center to provide Geospatial Information & Services, technical advice, and assistance for DA Staff actions and requirements.

 * Assist DCS,G-2 with evaluation of Army subordinate command geospatial production & requirements.

 * Serve as MDEP Manager for the Management Decision Package (MDEP) EMAP for Army GI&S.  It's the Army's only MDEP that provides geospatial analysis, terrain visualization, and terrain data production for the Warfighter.

 * Maintains contact with the Army Space Working Group for all geospatial and engineer matters.
