Who We Are
The U.S. Army Audit
Agency is led by The Auditor General of the Army, The Principal Deputy
Auditor General, four Deputy Auditors General, and one Director, each of
whom is in charge of specific aspects of agency operations - Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Audits; Financial Management and Comptroller Audits; Installations, Energy, and Environment Audits; Manpower, Reserve Affairs, and Training Audits; and Operations Management.
The Agency Headquarters
is located in Fort Belvoir, VA and has 22 field
offices, 18 in the Continental United States and 4 overseas (Alaska,
Hawaii, Europe, and Republic of Korea).
What We Do
The Army Audit Agency
serves America's Army by providing objective and independent auditing
services. We help the Army make informed decisions, resolve issues, use
resources effectively and efficiently, and satisfy statutory and fiduciary
responsibilities.
In fulfilling this
mission, Agency employees aim to be role models and innovators, and to
perform their duties objectively, fairly, and with the highest professional
integrity.
